Dr. Darcy Leerssen

Dr. Darcy Leerssen

Dr. Leerssen graduated from Arizona State University in 1973. He received his Doctor of Dental Science Degree from Creighton Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska, in May 1977. He then served as a dentist for the United States Army at Fort Benning for three years before opening his own general practice in Columbus in 1980. Dr. Leerssen has delivered quality, gentle dentistry for over 37 years. He strives to see his patients on time – all the time.

Dr. Leerssen is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association and the Western District Dental Society.

Dr. Leerssen enjoys hunting, fishing, farming in Talbot County and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Jacque, have been married over 46 years. They have four married children and eleven grandchildren.

 

Dr. Paris

Dr. Devon Paris

Dr. Paris grew up in Columbus, Georgia. In May 2008, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Samford University, where she also was a member and captain of the women’s soccer team. In 2014, she received her Degree as a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Paris treats all patients like family and believes in building trust and long lasting relationships that foster the patient’s ideal dental health.

Dr. Paris was awarded the very first Department of General Dentistry Faculty Achievement Award for “outstanding and commendable performance and professionalism as a senior dental student.” She has been an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Georgia Dental Association since graduating dental school. In 2015, she was inducted into the prestigious Hinman Dental Society.

Dr. Paris recently got engaged to Andrew Krawchyk and is extremely excited about her upcoming wedding in 2018. She loves outdoor activities, painting, drawing, exercising, soccer and spending time with her rambunctious pup, Mable.

 

In Memory

Dr. Jeffery King joined our office in July 2002. Dr. King grew up in Columbus, was married to Paige King, graduated from Augusta State University. He received his Dental Medicine Doctor degree from The Medical College of Georgia in 2001 and completed a General Practice Residency June 2002. Dr. King passed away February 16, 2017 at the young age of 49. Dr. King will be missed greatly by patients and our staff.
